Awards will be given to the swingers with the best cos tume and with the best dance moves. Mercer said people should not hesitate to at tend just because they do not have a a dance partner. “There will be a lot of singles there,” Mercer said. “A lot of times people will show up without a partner or need some one to help them learn how to-dance. “If you don’t have a partner or are looking for a new one, your odds are good here.” For those who have no idea how to Swing dance, classes will be held at the beginning of the night. The dance instructors will then roam the room, looking for couples who need help or want to learn a new step. “We’re going to have people on the floor all night so you can approach one if you’re having trouble or want to do some more advanced moves,” Mercer said. “They’re not just going to leave after an hour. ” Adams said Swing dancing is bug, Swing dancing is easy because all the steps come from those dances.”' Mercer said even those with two left feet can learn how to Swing dance. “It’s really very easy to learn how to Swing dance,” Mercer said.
