WEIGHT LOSS Homecoming The men’s and women’s teams will be hosting the Texas A&M Invitational this Saturday at the Texas A&M Golf Course. The meet is the Aggies’ only home appearance on the schedule and will fea ture most of the state’s best collegiate competition. Michigan State, who is No. 10 in the nation, and the respected South Plains Junior College will make the trip to strengthen the men’s field at the meet. Coach Dave Hartman said this field will bring a high level of competition to their home meet. “This will be a really solid field,” Hartman said. “It will be the first time we get to see how we match up against intra-dis trict competition.” In addition to being a strong college meet, the meet also serves as one of the state’s pre mier high-school invitationals. It has been coined the “Little State Meet” and often features most of the state’s top teams and indi vidual runners. Many college coaches use it for recruiting purposes because their teams can run in a compet itive meet and the coaches can watch the high-school runners Wanna Run?
