"We're talking to coaches, and 1
need to hire two more people. We're
on it."
Gillom wants to get the team on
the right track toward winning
games and working toward the
goal of a National Championship.
She said she wants the complet
ed player—a good student, a good
athlete and a good citizen.
"Texas A&M has a great win
ning tradition," Gillom said. "I
want to add to that, and have fun
doing it."
Prissy Sharpe, a junior for
ward on the women's basketball
team, said she is excited about
the addition of Gillom, and she
thinks she will interact well with
the players.
"She's ready to get in here,
and get everything going back
on schedule," Sharpe said. "I re
ally like her, and she's going to
be able to relate with the players
really well."
Gillom said she is glad to be part
of Texas A&M and lucky to be part
of such a supportive environment.
"I have been a Rebel, and 1 was
a true Rebel," she said. "I've been
a Comet, and I was a true Comet.
Now Tm an Aggie, and I'm going
to be a true Aggie."
