The Battalion E W S Thursday NAFTA Continued from Page 1 Mark Radulovich, an MBA gradu ate student and Webmaster for the class, designed the structure and layout for the Web page used by all the students. Radulovich said the Web site pro vided information to the students from all three countries regarding topics for class discussion so stu dents could prepare what they wanted to communicate during the video teleconference. Information used in the class is also made publicly available via the Internet so anyone interested in NAF TA can learn more, and videos of the class discussions will soon be avail able on the Internet also. Radulovich said the technology of video teleconferencing, e-mail and chat rooms is an efficient way of dis persing information. “We’re doing something that was totally unthinkable a few years ago,” he said. He said the class is a good way for the three countries to learn together. “Dr. Eden is really pushing the envelope of how teaching is done,” he said. In addition, students take part in group simulations and case discus sions with government policy makers and business executives from the three countries. One special guest has been former President George Bush, during whose administration the NAFTA agreement was assigned.
