A common myth is that this
is one of the easier majors at
A&M. She actually takes field
trips in some of her classes.
However, she strives to be
the best she can be in her ma
jor. I’ve looked at some of the
projects she’s been assigned,
and I know I sure couldn’t do
that kind of work.
Each of us has a God-given
talent, and if we waste it by not
making the effort to learn in our
classes, we are spitting in the
face of whoever is paying for
our education and the Universi
ty in general.
What about ail the people
who are turned away from A&M
each semester? Everyone de
serves an education, and we
Sketch
can’t waste what we have been
blessed with.
We have each selected a ma
jor to help us expand the
knowledge we will need for our
future career. We should thirst
to learn everything there is to
know about our field of exper
tise. If we make a point to do
our best now, it can make all the
difference when we actually
have a job in that field someday.
The least we can do is try to
balance the partying and the
schoolwork. Some professors
suggest considering school a 9
a.m. to 5 p.m. job. If you’re not
in class during these hours, use
them for homework, studying or
library research. For those who
do work and go to school, use
your time wisely. Why is it such
a sin to stay at home and study
for a test on Saturday night?
School didn’t matter so much
