Even with putting in 18-hour
days, Dunn said Coffee Station
is a creation he is proud of and
wants people to enjoy.
“This is my baby,” he said. “I’m
here for it, and it’s here for me.”
Today, the Coffee Station (lo
cated on Harvey) will be hold
ing its grand opening to mem
bers of the Bryan-College
Station area.
For the celebration, all drinks
will be half-priced.
And for customers’ listening
pleasure, the featured guest for
the shop’s grand opening will be lo
cal jazz/blues artist Ruthie Foster.
The next time you are sitting at
home with nothing to do, think of
how tasty a cup of gourmet coffee
would feel.
So take a load off, enjoy the am
bience and drink away until the cof
fee cup runs dry.

Even if the soundtrack catch
es a snag with Poe and Pop, it is
redeemed by “Breakable.”
This song by little-known
artist Fisher features words that
ring as reminders of the reper
cussions of insensitivity.
With phrases such as “Every
time you throw him to the
floor,/ why are you surprised
to see he’s breakable,” the
song peers into the sorrow of
unreturned love.
The message is: while people
might be annoyed by an unwant
ed love, they should recognize
the sufferings of their admirers.
As a whole, the soundtrack
for Great Expectations is im
pressive and entertaining.
With smart lyrics and talent
ed artists, this compilation de
parts from the usual soundtrack
pitfall of big budget movies,
which rely on big names and
cheesy Celine Dionish ballads.
Th e soundtrack taw
a collection of son»-^
ranging from soulful
sassy, weaving tata
angst, anger and k
from afar.
If the soundtrack isa
cator, GreatExpectatm
be worth the hype.
Quote for the Day
I definitely need to quit watching‘Jerry Springer* and study more.
