“All of the countries learn
things from each other,” she said.
“We would like to benchmark off
the Europeans in orienteering.
They are raised learning how to
orienteer and excel at it.”
At the end of the three-day
competition, the competitors ex
change clothes as souvenirs.
Wenzel said everyone wants to
trade with the Americans.
She said she was surprised be
cause most of the people from oth
er countries have heard of Texas,
and a few had heard of A&M.
“People always know where
Texas is,” she said. “I brought
my favorite A&M shirt, and ga' 1
it to a girl from Britain wl
knew of A&M. To me, that
amazing.”
