He grew up in Compton and attended Dominguez High School. He re ceived his associate arts degree from Long Beach City College and moved on to California State Uni versity with the intent to become an attorney. Rodriguez worked behind the scenes in a school production where his jokes prompted his act ing teacher to take him to a come dy club for “Amateur Night.” The club’s owner offered Rodriguez a job working the door and the op portunity for nightly stints on stage. We abide by a code of ethics that says we do not use any underhanded or coercive methods of counseling.
