POLICE OFFICER
Requirements: All applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and be
able to competently read and write the English language. Must be a U.S. citizen.
All applicants must be between 21 and 35, unless they have 5 years prior peace
office experience or 5 years previous military experience: (maximum age any
applicant is 44 years old.) Must be able to meet all legal requirements by the
Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education
(TCLEOSE). Must possess a valid Texas drivers license at time of employment,
with a good driving record as determined by City standards. Must meet the
physical standards for the position. Must not have any history or criminal or
improper conduct which may affect suitability for law enforcement work. Good
benefits; Hiring range: $10.69/hour - non certified & $12.06/hour - certified. The

A public meeting will be held on Monday, October 13, 1997, at
6: p.m. at the Bryan/College Station Convention and Visitors
Bureau at 715 University Dr. East, to present the Brazos County
Area Regional Water Supply System draft report. •
This public meeting is a Texas Water Development Board
planning grant requirement upon the completion of the study but
prior to the publication of the final report. The following
information in the draft report will be presented at the public
meeting: population and water demand projections of the study
area, potential surface and ground water sources, and regional
water supply system scenarios and recommendations.
