I happen to classify myself as Or thodox and I found many of his comments to be rude and unnec essary. I know that many Battalion writers search for items that will stir up outrage and commentary, but I'd like to ask Mason to keep his Antisemitic comments to him self. Orthodox Judaism is based on a shared tradition of thousands of years. We, especially as Aggies, should have enough respect not to mock them for keeping kosher or keeping the Sabbath (the 11th Commandment jokingly referred to is the “thou shall not work on Sabbath”). Perhaps it is not too farfetched to believe that the Orthodox stu dents went to Yale to get an excel lent education rather than “an en riching experience...where men and women learn to cope with one another.” Lisa Foox Class ’00 Film society not a favorable option In response to Brent Troyan’s Oct. 1 mail call: Are you kidding me? College Park 6 comes about and you feel the need to advertise the MSC Film Society in the Mail Call? Are you trying to compare yourself to a movie theater? I’ve made the mistake of at tending a flick at Rudder before. First of all, the screen is about 10 times too big for the picture, which wouldn’t be so bad if the sound weren’t so lame. It was like somebody pressed play on a jam-box set up behind the screen. And then there is the “My heart bleeds maroon” section of Aggies] who feel the need to whoop throughout the whole movie. It' s about time a dollar movie theater sprang up around here. Oh yeah, where is your pop corn stand? c Ilk k' niioT. .
