The Texas A&M Sports Car Club invites all Aggies to participate in
two FUN competition driving events this weekend:
Saturday, April 19th:
Day Rally and Cookout!!!
The rally will start on campus at Zachary Lot 51 and end with a cook-
out and get-together at Welch Park on Lake Somerville. Registration
opens at 9:00 AM. A rally is a timed event run on public roads at legal
speeds. All you need is a driver, a navigator, a pencil, any type of car or
truck, and a full tank of gas! It’s cheap, it’s legal, and most importantly,
it’s FUN!!!
Sunday, April 20th:
Autocross IV!!!
Learn to drive your car to the limits of its performance in a safe and legal
environment! Come test your driving skill and your car’s handling while
racing against the clock! It’s a cheap, legal, and FUN way to test the
limits of your vehicle. All types of cars welcome! Autocross IV will be
held at the Texas A&.M Riverside Annex, located west of Bryan near
the intersection of Highway 21 and Highway 47. Registration opens at
9:00 AM.
