Zuehlke The Battalion The No. 23 Texas A&M Women’s Tennis Team overcame a tough University of Colorado team Sunday, beating them 8-1 at the Omar Smith Tennis Center. The Lady Ags only loss came in the singles round as senior Nancy Dingwall fell to Colorado’s Nadine Kenzelmann 3-1 (6-4,2-6, 5-7). A&M Head Coach Bobby Kleinecke said A&M’s sheer de termination allowed them to fight off the Lady Buffaloes. “Colorado’s got a good team, but we established ourselves and fought hard just like we’ve been doing all year,” Kleinecke said. "I’m real proud the way they handled themselves and fought back.” On the doubles side, Dingwall, along with her sister, fresh man Lisa Dingwall, faced an equally tough sister duo in Col orado’s Anna and Aggie Bek. However, the Dingwall’s were the better of the two, winning 3-1. The win puts the elder Dingwall in the history books as the all-time winningest doubles player with 87 wins. JuniorVanessa Rooks said the Lady Ags are working well to gether as a unit, therefore allowing them to overcome tough matches. “The whole team is doing great. It’s not just one individual person,” Rooks said. “Everyone is putting everything they have into it.” h Monday ‘Apr' Gymnastics Continued from Page 1 Senior member and club president; Craft finished sixth on the uneven bars am! enth in the vault and balance beamtotakea; high third in the all-around rankings wtha of36.250.
