Senate
Continued from Page 1
Josh Duncan, an off-campus
senator and a sophomore
speech communications and
English major, said Bigbee is
able to solve problems in ways
other people are not.
“Nathan (Bigbee) steps out
side of the box,” Duncan said.
“He looks for different solutions
to the same problems.”
Duncan said Bigbee will
help the senators do their job
better by making them
accountable to students.
“Leadership is about building
platforms and erecting platforms
for others to stand on,” Duncan
said. “He is going to give you a
foundation to stand on.”
The Rules and Regulations
committee ensures that the
Student Government Association
constitution, University regula
tions and by-laws of the different
branches of the association are
followed correctly. The committee
also clarifies rules and makes new
regulations for the association.
Magee said she wants to
continue to restructure the
legislative, executive and judi
cial branches of Student
Government. She said she also
will work to correct technical
errors in a revision of the con
stitution and by-laws.
Magee said the committee can
improve the structure of Student
Government and help them more
effectively serve students.
“We have an amazing oppor
tunity to have a great impact on
the Student Government struc
ture and the student body,”
Magee said.
The next Senate meeting will
