We are not Yell Leaders!
We are not student body
presidents! We are not even
politically correct! But we ARE dedicated to maintaining a
positive on-going relationship between the Class of 1997
and Texas A&M University. Today we represent IFC, Corps
of Cadets, Student Government, Bonfire, and every other
aspect of life here at TAMU.
Tomorrow, we will be the voice for you. Besides the
customary tasks of sending out a newsletter and organiz
ing our five-year reunion, we have tons of other exciting
events planned. A few ideas include: mini-reunions
across the state, tailgate parties for each football game,
an annual scholarship drive, and an Internet site with
international accessibility.
As you polish your ring, hang your diploma and remi
nisce of your days in Aggieland, think about your future
affiliation with this great institution. Ensure the success of
our class with a vote for Cade, Cole and Blake.

WE’RE NOT DEAD! THE
FUN IS JUST BEGINNING!
The role of class agent is to
facilitate how former students remember their alma mater. We,
as class agents, will carry on the strong reputation that the Class
of 1997 has established. Through newsletters we will inform the
class about recent changes and upcoming events. Organized
former student functions will provide our class opportunities to
keep in touch before our five year reunion. Our diverse involve
ment at Texas A&M has given us an opportunity to serve our
student body in many capacities. As student leaders striving for
excellence and integrity, we have gained experience through
perseverance. Now, we accept the responsibility to establish a
strong foundation for our alumni class. As class agents, we will
continue to serve the Class of 1997 with the same standards of
professionalism and dignity until 2002. GARY KIPE, KRISTIN
HARROLD, AND BRIAN MYERS WISH YOU THE BEST OF
LUCK IN YOUR NEWJOURNEY’S-Ol’ ARMY!
