The Chemistry of New Ideas
Congratulations to Cesar Torres, a freshman chemical engineering major
from Pasadena, Texas who has been selected as Eastmans most recent
Chemical Engineering Selected Scholar here at Texas A&M University.
Although he had directed most of his time to his studies, Cesar finds time
for other activities. He has joined the Mexican American Engineering
Society and the Society of Hispanic Engineers. He is active in church
activities at St. Hyacinth Church. If he finds spare time, Cesar would like to
play intramural or recreational soccer. Cesar would like to thank his parents
for the opportunities they have given him. His projected graduation date is
December 2001. After graduation Cesar hopes to enter the work force while
pursuing an MBA. Eastman Chemical Company welcomes Cesar into the
select group of student scholars. Congratulations again to Cesar!
