Seniors
Survey
Continued from Page 1
Most students say that from the time they enter A&M as
freshmen, they learn and grow not only from their classroom
education but from their college experiences.
Lisa Marye, a Fish Camp ’97 assistant director and senior ki
nesiology major, said her most memorable times and lessons
come from Fish Camp.
“At Fish Camp, we try to teach the fish that the most im
portant thing about A&M is that we help each other," Marye
said. “It’s a very unselfish University because we help people
we don’t even know. I’m glad I didn’t have to wait until I was
a senior to learn that because it’s added so much to my life
here in Aggieland.”
The Corps of Cadets also teaches life lessons to students
at A&M.
Stephen Foster, Corps commander and a senior political
science major, plans to continue his education at law school.
“Every year the Corps teaches you something different,”
Foster said. “By the time you’re a senior, you have the ability to
work hard, stay focused, and be self-confident. Through my
years at A&M in the Corps, I’ve learned to be a man of my word
and a man of action.”
Seniors must take the knowledge they gathered while at
A&M and choose their paths. The anticipation causes mixed
feelings for all.
Frankie Browning, a senior journalism major, said his pend
ing graduation came too soon.
“I’m excited, but it went by fast," Browning said.
