Howard was arrested early Mon
day, charged with drunken dri
ving after his 1995 Mercedes was
spotted speeding down a Wash
ington street.
The Washington Bullets for

own recognizance and a Dec. 6
court date was set.
“This is truly a big embarrass
ment for me personally and for my

nization,” Howard said after practice
Monday at Bowie State University.
Howard said he understood
that “we all have to follow rules
and regulations,” adding that he
would continue to be himself
and “let everyone know that I’m
not perfect.”
