Now You Can Drive
To Italy In Less
Than 10 Minutes
Welcome To
The Vintage House Trattoria
at Messina Hof.
You’re sitting in a small, family-owned eatery on a
small family-owned Estate. A soft breeze gently
caresses the sea of grapevines...swaying
in natural harmony.
Authentic Italian food so good
you’ll want to go home
and paint your ceiling.
The pastel sunlight streams in through tall,
stained-glass windows. The green clear lake
mirrors the perfect sky. The large white cranes
seem to shimmer in the reflected light.
Fresh. Gourmet. Handmade.
Homemade. Casual.
You sip a superb glass of wine, made close by.
Your spirits soar. Your palate rejoices.
You’ve found the Mediterranean...the Southern
coast of Italy...and you can drive here
in less than ten minutes.
Open for lunch 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.,
Wednesdays - Sundays and open
for dinner on Friday and
Saturday evenings by reservation.
This is how it should be. This is how it is.

Career
Continued from Page 1
“I think at one time there was a glass ceiling, bmii
is disappearing now and many industries are
regardless of sex or race,” Haack said. “In someofft
older companies there might still be a small pn
but I think it is really diminishing overall."
Matt Brannen, an engineering graduates!
said females are actually at an advantage in thewoil.
place today.
“There’s a big push for political correctnesstoiai
so if companies find women highly qualified,
sometimes pick them over a man who isjustashi)
qualified,” Brannen said. “Women are gettingiln
same opportunities as guys these days.”
The survey revealed that women and men
pursue different career fields.
Men tend to chose math and science-relatedk
reers and women chose education ahd health-rel
ed fields.
Jennifer Ball, a junior elementary educationik :
said the tendency of a women to pursue atradfe
careers like is related to her upbringing.
“It all goes back to the roles they were brought.:
with in their family life,” Ball said. “A lot of peoples?
brought up with the male as the bread winner
ing care of financial concerns, while thewoma
looked after the kids and took care of everyone.'
