Campus Professor named to head economics The Texas A&M College of Liber al Arts has announced a new head of the Department of Economics. Dr. Dennis Jansen, professor of economics, took over the position Sept. 1. Jansen, who earned his doctor ate at the University of North Caroli- na-Chapel Hill, has taught at A&M since 1983. The endowment was made in the memory of the club’s late president, Billy L. Stephenson, Class of ’51.
