Doug Allen, a Texaco representative, looks upon a stock car that was raced in
Bristol, Tenn. It was driven by a few famous racecar drivers and was last driven by
the late Davy Allison. The car was retired after Allison’s death and is now on tour. It
was shown at the MSC Tuesday for the engineering recruiting fair.
December graduation candidates have until
the deadline Friday to apply for a degree from
Texas A&M.
All undergraduate and graduate students
must make a formal application for their
degrees. This ensures they will have a diploma
in time for the commencement ceremony.

TEES, TxDOT join forces
to improve bus safety
The Texas Engineering Extension Service
has joined with the Texas Department of
Transportation to offer a behind-the-wheel
school bus driver safety training program.
The five-day training program acts as a sup
plement to the 20 hours of bus driver training
required for certification by the state.
The next programs will be held Oct. 7-11
and and March 22-26 in College Station.
