CANDI HARVEY
Women's Basketball Coach
W elcome back Ags! All of us in
Lady Aggie Basketball hope
you had a wonderful holiday.
Now it’s time to get back to class and
time for us to get into the heart of the
Southwest Conference race.
We are currently 10-4, ranked
25th in the country, and and are
coming off the biggest win over the
Texas Lady Longhorns in the histo
ry of our program. If you did not
make it our game Saturday against
Texas, you missed an incredibly ex
citing game in front of a record-
breaking crowd of 4,103 rowdy Ag
gies. It was awesome!
This conference race will be the
most competitive ever. On any given
night, anyone can be defeated. We re
ally feel like a team must win almost
all of its home games and 90 percent
of its road games to bring home the
championship.
Texas Tech is playing extremely
well right now, but we know that
we can beat them in the Holler
House in front of a sellout crowd.
Rice, our next opponent, is 2-0 in
conference with big wins over Hous
ton and SMU.
Houston and Baylor have played
well in non-conference games and
will really tests us. TCU is young
and has lost a key player to a knee
injury, but young head coach Shell
Robinson has them heading in a
positive direction.
In a nutshell, it’s anybody’s race,
and the edge that you give us by
packing G. Rollie White EVERY
TIME we play can make the differ
ence for us.
We currently have a 16-game
home winning streak and we need
your help to keep us undefeated.
Come be a part of the excitement of
Lady Aggie Basketball!
