What do you think of this?
“David is not ascended into the
heavens.” Acts 2:34. Is it logical that
New Testament believers should go
to heaven at death even though
David, a man after God’s own heart,
is not there? No it’s not logical; nor is
it scriptual. The Bible teaches that
“the righteous shall inherit the land,
and dwell therein forever.” Psa 37:29

with 20 or 30 issues to work on.
“Hopefully, we won’t find that
many,” he said.
“We will pick out a half dozen
or so to work on.”
He said the committee will
then work to implement the
new legislation.
“The committee members
know the different administra
tors that they deal with about
current issues,” Holland said.
“Til send them to talk with
the administrators.”
Jones said they will take the
same steps of bringing original
bills to the administration.
“We will bring up the bills and
make sure they are still current
and then take them to the admin
istration,” he said.
Holland said as committee
chair, he will be setting the meet
ing times and he, along with
Leslie, created the seating.
“I usually run a committee
where I don’t have anymore say
than anyone else does,” he said.
“I don’t have any special pull
in these committees.”
Leslie said part of her platform
was to work to secure the legisla
tion of the Senate.
“The constitution says part of
my job is to make sure the legis
lation is followed up on,” she said.
“But that is not always possi
ble because I have so many other
things to do.”
