resulted in an assault of a Puryear
resident. The victim was struck in
the head with a bottle by a sub
ject who ran to a room in Law
Hall and crawled out the window
to avoid apprehension. The vic
tim was treated at the Beutel
Health Center for a laceration to
the forehead that required 10
stitches to close.
TAMU Golf Course - An in
vestigating officer responded to a
report of a fight in progress be
tween a male and female. The
officer located the two subjects.
There was no evidence of a
physical assault, and neither sub
ject wished to file charges.
Disorderly Conduct by Lan-
guage
Lowler Hall - A group of
males on the fourth floor of
Lowler was shouting at a group
of females on the second floor of
Hughes Hall. The Residence
Director requested the group to
be quiet. When he returned a
second time, a subject not pre
sent for the first warning verbally
assaulted the Resident Director.
Upon arrival of the investigating
Officer, the Resident Director re
quested that charges not be
filed. The subject was told to
leave the area to avoid being ar
rested for criminal trespassing.
Disorderly Conduct
Wellborn Road - A citation
was issued to a subject who was
observed exposing his genitals
from the rear of a vehicle as it
traveled northbound on Well
born Road.
Clark Street and Joe Routt - A
subject was issued a citation for
urinating in public.
Possession of Controlled Sub
stance (Marijuanal/Possession or
Delivery of Drug Paraphernalia
Coke Street - A cyclist was
stopped for disregarding a traffic
control sign at the intersection of
Coke and Lubbock Streets. As
the subject pulled his wallet from
his pocket, the officer observed a
package of Zig Zag papers.
When asked about the presence
of marijuana on his person, the
subject handed the officer a
sanowich bag containing a green
leafy substance believed to be
marijuana. The subject was
placed under arrest. Prior to
transport, a cigarette box con
taining a hancf rolled cigarette
containing a green leary sub
stance believeo to be marijuana
was removed from this person.
The subject was taken to Brazos
County Jail.
Evading Arrest or Detention
Spence Street - A cyclist re
fused to follow the instructions of
a traffic officer after committing a
traffic violation. The subject clid
not stop and fled the presence of
the officer.
Criminal Mischief
Hotard Hall - A witness noti
fied UPD that several people
were writing their names and
other graffiti in the freshly
poured cement on the west side
of Hotard Hall. Upon arrival,
the investigating officer observed
20-30 names written in the ce
ment. A Hotard Hall resident as
sisted the officer by brushing off
the names.
Parking Area 49 - The front
window of a vehicle was broken.
