A&M players work out
for NFL coaches, scouts
From staff and wire reports
Seventeen Texas A&M players worked out Wednesday before 63
representatives from NFL teams in hopes of improving their status
before next month's draft.
Almost every NFL team was represented, including head coaches
Buddy Ryan of Phoenix, Sam Wyche of Tampa Bay and Bill Cowher
of Pittsburgh.
"For student-athletes who have pro aspirations, we want to do
everything possible to help them achieve that goal," Aggies coach
R.C. Slocum said.
Among those who worked out Wednesday were Sam Adams and
Greg Hill, both juniors who have given up their eligibility.

Texas A&M opened the con
test by splitting the singles
matches with the Bears.

and four spots.
However, it was the loss at the
No. 6 spot that grabbed the Klei-
