Nursing home employee charged in
sexual assault of paralyzed woman
The Associated Press
SAN ANTONIO — A man has been charged with
sexually assaulting a 32-year-old paralyzed nursing

the baby, authorities say.
Dennis Paul Wallace, 39, was charged with sexual
assault and released Sunday from Bexar County Jail
after posting a $25,000 bond.
A report identified Wallace as a nursing home
employee, according to the San Antonio Express-

Yvonne Friday.
“It doesn't have any bearing on school. We have no
connection with anything that took place over the
weekend. We're all very hopeful that Jason will recov

Friday said the 6-foot-2 Williams, who has signed

the woman had become pregnant because of hisse*

The victim has been paralyzed from the neci

sexually assaulted and shot in the head, accordingl»
police and court records.
Marynell Maloney, an attorney representingth
woman and her mother, said the woman can shake
her head in response to yes-or-no questions.
