Price, a social studies teacher who also
served as a drama club adviser and girls
softball coach, resigned shortly after he
was indicted last May. The case attracted
national attention after he appeared on
several tabloid-style television shows,
saying he had sex with seven students
over the last 20 years.
One of those students was Price's
wife, Patricia, the only other witness
called by the defense. Mrs. Price, now 25,
said she had an affair with Price when
she was 17.
"I was 17 years old. 1 knew what I was
doing," she said.
Neither Price nor his attorney contest
ed the three counts of unnatural and per
verted sex practices, and one count of
fourth-degree sex offense with a child
under age 16.
Testifying Wednesday, Price admitted
he had sex with two students, but denied
allegations by a third woman that they
had an affair while he was her drama
club adviser.
