So long 27-game home winning streak. And maybe farewell to the New York Knicks' chance to dethrone the two-time NBA champion Chicago Bulls. Chicago won its third straight game in the Eastern Conference finals Wednesday night, breaking a cycle of home victories with a 97-94 triumph that saw Michael Jordan score 17 of the Bulls' last 22 points and finish with 29. The biggest points of all, however, came from guard B.J. Armstrong, whose 3-pointer gave Chicago a 95-93 lead with 1:17 left. A free throw by Charles Smith made it 95-94 with 52 sec onds left, and Patrick Ewing blocked Stacey King's shot, forc ing a 24-second violation. That gave the Knicks a final possession, and Smith appeared for a fleeting moment to have an open path to the basket, but he was thwarted on three attempts to score. Jordan finally got a loose ball and passed to Armstrong for a last-second basket at the buzzer. Pippen scored 10 of his 28 points in a six-minute span of the third period, leading a 16-10 spurt that put the Bulls in front 73-68. Chicago now leads the series 3-2 with the next game on Sun day, June 6 in Chicago. 12 - 12:06 p.m. Jracket Two Game 3 #2 Arizona St. Saturday - 1 2:06 p.m. #7 Wichita St. Game 8 Monday, June 7 6:36 p.m. Game 4 #3 Texas Saturday - 6:36 p.m. #6 Oklahoma St. Game 12 Game 14 Winner of Game 8 Thursday, June 10 - 6:36 p.m. Game 10 Loser of Game 8 Game 7 Loser of Game 1 Monday, June 7 - 3:06 p.m. Loser of Game 2 Tuesday,June 8 6:36 p.m. Friday, 1 1 - 6:36 p.m. Winner of Game 10 DIVISION WINNER SUMMER WORKSHOPS Rte&Lite* NOW - MSC CuUt CefOtei PLUS SPECIAL INTEREST Photography Tues.
