RESEARCH
Panic
Do 310U experience brief, unexpected periods of intense fear or
discomfort?
Have you visited your doctor or the hospital emergency room because of
chest pains, shortness of breath, numbness or tingling sensations and
find out that you have no physical problems?
These occurrences may have been panic attacks.
VIP Research is conducting a study on Panic Disorder. Individuals
with symptoms of panic attacks are being recruited to participate
in a three month study of an investigational medication for the
treatment of panic disorder. If you would like more information,
call VIP Research. $200.00 will be paid to those individuals who
qualify and complete the study.

gies.
"They had a great series, they
pitched and hit well," Hays said.
In the opening game, Aggie
lefthander Jeff Granger scattered
five hits over nine innings giving
up only one run to pace A&M to
coach Mark Johnson's 400th career
victory, 6-1.
The win elevated Granger's
record to 9-1 on the season.
Saturdays first game started
out slowly for the Aggies as they
found themselves trailing 3-0 in
the bottom of the third inning, but
that quickly changed as A&M
struck for six runs on seven hits
including sophomore catcher Rob
Trimble's first career home run.
The Aggies posted an 11-4 vic
tory and pitcher Trey Moore's
ninth win in as many starts.
Trimble's blast came on an 0-2
pitch from Tech starter J.J. Varney
who had badly fooled Trimble on
the first two pitches. Trimble be
came a more prolific slugger in
the sixth inning when he added
the second long ball of his career.
"I don't know what got into me
today," Trimble said.
"I looked sick on the first two
pitches (of the first home run),
and then he came in with an in
side fastball and it managed to get
out of the yard," Trimble said. "I
was pretty excited."
Trimble was clearly exultant
during both trips around the
bases which did not go unnoticed
by his coach.
"He couldn't keep from smil
ing both times," Johnson said.
Trimble had five hits in 10 at-
bats during the series, adding a
double to his power numbers and
scoring four runs while knocking
in four more.
Aggie hurler Kelly Wunsch
was dominating at times during
the nightcap of Saturday's double-
header before pitching his way
into a bases loaded, no-outs jam in
the seventh inning.
After allowing lead-off hitter
Clint Bryant to single, Wunsch
lost command of the strike zone as
he walked three of four batters,
driving in a run while striking out
one Red Raider.
But Wunsch regained compo
sure and overpowered two
straight batters, striking out the
side to get out of the inning.
"I was tending to try to aim the
ball a little bit and then the bases
got loaded, the adrenaline kicked
in and I started throwing strikes,"
Wunsch said.
Wunsch pitched into trouble
yet again in the eighth, giving up
two singles and balking a run
home, but reliever Brian Parker
entered the game with a precari
ous 4-3 lead, and no outs and a
runner at third before slamming
the door shut on the way to his
second save of the season.
Parker characterized his grith
performance as accomplishing
what should be expected of him.
"That's the epitome of being a
relief pitcher," Parker said
Wunsch was grateful for the help
his teammate gave him.
"It's always good to have
someone close the door like that
for you," Wunsch said.
