Misdemeanor Theft
University Center Parking Garage — Someone
stole the rear license plate (TLP # 510-4BH) from the
victim’s vehicle.
Memorial Student Center — Three portable
spotlights were stolen from the second floor hallway.
McFadden Hall —Someone stole the grey car
cover off of the victim's 1976 Triumph.
Zachry Engineering Center — A 3’ by 5’ nylon
United States flag with gold fringe was stolen.
University Center Parking Garage — A tan car
cover left unattended in the lease holder’s sparking
place was stolen.
Dormitory 6 — Two individuals were trapped
momentarily in a room by someone who wedged
pennies in the door and set fire to a piece of paper
outside the door.
Veterinary Medical Center Small Animal Clinic —
Someone apparently operated a motor vehicle on the
sidewalk to push a dumpster approximately 15” until
it contacted the wall on the north side of the building.
Wells Hall — A Gucci wristwatch was stolen from
a second floor room.
Parking Area 61 — The victim’s Illinois license
plate 93-AGE was removed from the rear bumper of
his vehicle.
Zachry Engineering Center — A Hewlitt-Packard
HP28S calculator was stolen from the victim’s
ackpack.
Memorial Student Center east entrance — A
wooden ‘Touchstone’’ newspaper stand was stolen.
Easterwood Airport — A pilot director sign panel
was stolen from the northeast runway entrance.
Thompson Hall — Someone removed the victim’s
Texas driver’s license from her wallet while she was
in the laboratory adjacent to her classroom.
Sbisa Dining Hall — A grey and white speckled
Murray mountain bicycle was stolen from the west
side of the dining hall.
MSC Bookstore — Someone stole the victim's
purse from a locker in the basement of the MSC
Bookstore. The purse was found in the YMCA
Building minus $10 in cash and three blank checks.
Kleberg Building bicycle rack — A maroon
Schwinn 12- speed boys bicycle was stolen.
Sterling C. Evans Library bicycle rack — A white
Huffy 10-speed boys bicycle was stolen.
Eller Oceanography and Meteorology Building —
Someone entered a basement room and removed a
Skil circular saw, a Dayton 3/8-inch electric drill, a
Duel Fast nail gun, a Craftsman jigsaw Skil disc
grinder and an assortment of wrenches and sockets.
Criminal Trespass
Wofford Cain Pool — Two individuals were
arrested for entering a secured area without
authorization. They were transferred to the Brazos
County Jail and incarcerated.
Mount Aggie Complex — Two individuals who
entered the secured area without authorization were
ssued criminal trespass warnings and escorted from
the area.
Mosher Hall — Three individuals who refused to
comply with the directions of the Resident Hall
Advisor to leave the residence hall were
apprehended. The subjects were issued criminal
trespass warnings and escorted off campus.
Memorial Student Center — Two individuals
observed damaging the flower planter boxer with
their skateboards were issued criminal trespass
warnings.
Eller Oceanography and Meteorology Building —
Someone entered an eighth floor room without the
consent of the occupant.
G. Rollie White bicycle rack — A chrome Diamond
Back single speed boys bicycle was stolen.
Public Intoxication
Wellborn Road — An intoxicated individual was
found inside of a parked vehicle.
Terrorist Threat
Fowler Hall — The victim was threatened with
bodily harm by an unknown person.
Driving While Intoxicated
Ross Street — An intoxicated motorist was
arrested and incarcerated at the Brazos County Jail.
Criminal Mischief
Langford Architecture Center loading dock — A
sharp instrument was used to puncture two tires on
the victim’s 1987 Ford pickup truck.
Zachry Engineering Center — A toilet fixture in the
third floor men’s room was destroyed by some type of
explosive material.
Greenhouse 115B — Someone apparently used a
BB gun to damage three window panes on the south
side of the building.
Dormitory 7 — The lower glass pane of a fourth
floor residence hall window was broken by a glass
bottle that was thrown through it.
Dormitory 11 — Someone damaged the brass
cover that protects the rotary blades of the victim’s
Panasonic electric razor.
State Office Headquarters — Three plate glass
windows were damaged by someone who had
thrown several beer bottles at the building.
Burglary of Building
Penberthy Intramural Complex Storage Building
— A basketball backboard, frame, rim, and net were
stolen.
University Power Plant — The gloves, hat and
earplugs stolen from the victim’s locker between
March 27 and April 2 have been returned. The victim
does not wish to file criminal charges.
Harassment
Veterinary Medical Center Snack Bar — The
victim was threatened by an unknown caller
Beutel Health Center — Two individuals who had
knowledge of the placement of the harassing call
from their room refused to identify the responsible
person.
Underwood Hall — The victim is being harassed
telephonically by an acquaintance.
Clements Hall — The victim has received several
annoying telephone calls from a person who does not
speak when the call is answered.
Eppright Hall — The victim has received several
obscene telephone calls from an unknown person.
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia/Possession
of a Controlled Substance
Dormitory 6 — Two individuals were detected with
the possession of a small quantity of marijuana and
drug paraphernalia. Criminal charges are pending.
Reckless Conduct
Walton Hall — A resident was injured when he
ignited the gasses flowing from a chemical reaction in
a bottle that his roommate had prepared. The
exploding gases burst into flames burning the victim’s
eyes. He was treated and released from a local
hospital.
False Imprisonment
Puryear Hall — The victim was physically
restrained and prevented from leaving the residence
hall of an acquaintance. Criminal charges are
pending.
Puryear Hall — A warrant of arrest was served on
the individual responsible for this offense. He was
transported to the Brazos County Jail and
incarcerated.
Burglary of Vehicle
Parking Area 28 — The victim’s 1191-1192 TAMU
parking permit was stolen from her vehicle.
Parking Area 20 — The driver’s window was
broken out by a thief who removed a Sony 32-80
cassette stereo, a Cobra Trapshooter radar detector
and two Pioneer “Bazooka Tube” speakers from the
victim’s vehicle.
Burglary of Habitation
Neely Hall — A denim dress and a white blouse
were stolen from a first floor room.
Cain Hall — A Technics portable CD player, Gucci
men’s wristwatch and a compact disc were stolen
from a first floor room. A suspect in this offense has
been identified.
Felony Theft
Rudder Tower loading docks — An aluminum tool
case containing an assortment of electronic
equipment and electrical tools was stolen.
Burglary of Coin Operated Machine
Cain Hall — Witnesses observed two individuals
illegally manipulate a vending machine to remove
several canned drinks without paying for them.
