The add days were changed
from the first five class days to the
first seven, and the drop days
were the decreased from the first
12 class days to the first five.
Sheppard said that classes that
were full in past semesters had
many spaces because so many stu
dents dropped the class during
the first week of class because
they didn't actually need to take
it.
Now with the add days exceed
ing the drop days, some of that
problem has been eliminated, she
said, because students can pick up
classes that have been dropped.
Poenisch said that hopefully
this system will enhance the regis
tration process.
"Every summer we are sensi
tive to the shortage of classes for
freshman students," he said.
"We have been fortunate to get
schedules in the past for most of
the students."

elderly or children, she says. This
typically relates back to the
rapist's childhood and a specific
person such as a grandmother
who hurt the rapist either physi
cally or mentally.

were probably victims of sexual
abuse in their early years as well,
says Castoria.
