Class Of 93
Jennifer Cheatham
As the current Class of '93
President, I have experienced
what it takes to have a successful
Class Council. This year has been
an excellent year for the Class of
'93; raising over $5,000 on
Elephant Walk T-shirts, co-hosting
an extremely successful Class Ball
with the sophomore class, and
planning an exciting Boot Dance.
I feel that if I am elected, I can
ensure and equally successful
Senior year.
Thanks and Gig 'Em '93!
Brad Hickerson
I have a lot of energy and
motivation to lead the Class of
'93. With my three years of
experience in the Corps, I have
gained valuable skills necessary to
motivate people and to manage
committees.
I will work my hardest to
provide better communication for
our class activities, generate more
money for our class gift and
provide our class a memorable
Senior Year. Vote for our class,
vote for Brad Hickerson.
Gig 'Em.
Graduate Student
Representative
Referendum
Currently there are no
graduate student positions in the
Texas A&M Student Senate. The
Student Senate has resolved that
graduate students should have
the opportunity for
representation within student
government. Therefore/as a
graduate student at Texas A&M,
do you support the establishment
of a bicameral student congress
that shall include a graduate
senate in addition to the current
undergraduate senate.
Special Events
Center Referendum
Our present coliseum, G.
Rollie White, was built in 1954. It
contains only 7,000 seats and is
not equipped to handle the
entertainment needs of a major
university. The construction of a
modern 12, 500 seat Special
Events Center would allow for
the presentations of rock concerts,
ice shows and other special arena
shows as well as basketball
games, graduation ceremonies
and Muster.

Tuesday,
The Student Center Usage

John Baker
Howdy!
My name is John Baker, and I'm a civil
engineering major from College Station. I
believe I am very qualified to be your
class president. I have two years'
experience on Class Council, and I'm
involved with Traditions Council and the
Student Speakers' Bureau. My
participation in the Corps has given me
excellent experience in leadership,
teamwork and management.
I love the Class of'94 and want to see
both continue to excel!
Chad King
Howdy!
My name is Chad King and I'm
running for re-election as Class of '94
President. I've been involved with class
council the past two years, serving as
Fund-raising Chair my freshman year
and as President this year. As President,
the Class of '94 has almost quadrupled
programming this year and we have more
people involved than any other class. I
plan to continue improving in all areas,
especially programming, involvement,
and better communication.

Greg Riels
Howdy.
My name is Greg Riels and my
platform is simple ... to increase
participation in our class through varied
activities. To continue the success of and
improve on our class council we need to
insure that everyone knows their ideas
are needed and wanted. With a class of
over 7,000, the resources available in
terms of participation and fresh ideas are
endless. •
Elect Greg Riels and let's work
together to better the Class of 1994.

President will benefit Class
Council in the structuring and

necessary to effectively lead our

Howdy Ags!
My name is IAN HASTINGS
and I'm running for the high tin'
Texas Aggie Class of 1995
President. If elected President I
would make our class and myself
more visible on campus. I feel
that a great leader possesses three
qualities which are energy,
enthusiasm, and involvement.
Being a member of the Corps of
Cadets gives me a strong
background of the traditions and
the leadership qualities that will
keep the Class of'95 spirit alive!
Howdy Aggies! My name is
Wade Johns and I'm running for
President of the Fighting' Texas
Aggie class of 1995. I'm from
Pittsburg, Texas, taking business
and a member of the Aggie Band.
As president, 1 want to help
unify the class of 1995 and get
them more involved in student
government.
The first step in getting
involved is on April 1st. Don't
depend on someone else to make
your decisions for you.
GO VOTE!
In order to have an effective
class council, awareness and
involvement must be emphasized.
To promote awareness, I plan on
designating at least one member
from as many organizations as
possible (Corps, Greek, SGA, hall
councils) to serve as a
communications link between the
class council and their respective
organizations. These represent
atives will receive periodic
newsletters on upcoming events
and dates enabling them to pass
on information to fellow members
of the Class of '95.
