After an unearned run for the Frogs in the fifth, left fielder Eric Gonzalez finished the scoring for A&M by doubling , moving to third on a vyild pitch and scoring on a ground out by shortstop Ja son Marshall. Estes continued the offensive onslaught in the final game of the series, hitting 3-for-5 and knocking in three runs. That performance was highlighted by Estes' team leading fourth home run of the season, a solo shot to open the sixth inning. Sophomore Kelly Wunsch im proved his record to 3-1 with a vic tory in the final game. He lasted five and one-third innings and gave up three runs, only one of which was earned. TCU's Reid Ryan, son of Texas Rangers' pitcher Nolan Ryan, was the losing pitcher. Ryan lasted less than two innings in dropping to 2- 3 on the season. Ryan's downfall came in the form of a four-run second inning for the Aggies. Trimble singled and designated hitter Brian Bittik- er doubled to move Trimble to third. Both runners scored on a double by first baseman Conrad Colby. After a walk to center fielder Brian Thomas, Travis Williams sacrificed the runners to second and third. Marshall then singled up the middle to bring in both runners and end Ryan's work for the evening. James Nix relieved Wunsch in the sixth inning and picked up his team-leading third save. The Aggies exploded again in the ninth, scoring four runs to in sure against a comeback from the Frogs. Estes continued to have the hot hand as he singled in two runs in the final stanza. Johnson and his A&M squad will return home tomorrow to host the University of Texas at Arling ton. The Aggies and the Maver icks will square off at 7 p.m. in Olsen Field.
