On the weekend of July 21, thieves burglarized
five vehicles, damaged property and stole a truck at
the Drew Woods Company on Marion Pugh Boule
vard in College Station. The College Station police
became aware of the burglaries when they traced a
recovered stolen truck back to the business.
According to reports, the thieves entered one of
the vehicles and stole tools and spray paint, then
used the paint to vandalize the building and a vehi
cle. The tools were apparently used to break the win
dows of the other trucks and to start one of them.
The recovered vehicle was a maroon 1990 GMC
Sierra truck found abandoned in the 500 block of
Park Place Drive.
College Station detectives believe the thieves rode
around in the truck before abandoning it and may
have used it to commit other crimes. Police have no
names or descriptions of the suspects.
This week the College Station Police Department
and Crime Stoppers need your help in identifying the
people responsible for these burglaries. If you have
information that could be helpful, call Crime Stop
pers at 775-TIPS. When you call. Crime Stoppers will
assien vou a special coded number that will protect
assign you a special
your identity.
If your call leads to an arrest and grand jury in
dictment, Crime Stoppers will pay you up to $1,000
in cash.
