Guards Lynn Suber and Brooks Thompson, the only Aggies with experience playing the Hogs at Fayetteville, will Fill that role. Davis says the game will most likely be a learning experience. “They understand the type of en vironment that they are going into,” he said. “We’ve just got to keep our composure, and Fight off Arkansas runs. “It doesn’t matter what the score is, we’ve just got to get ourselves bet ter during the game.” Aggie games to be televised From Staff and Wire Reports Texas A&M’s home game against the Houston Cougars and Southern Methodist’s contest against Texas Tech will be telecast, the Southwest Conference said. Collie was unstoppable inside, scoring 26 points, including the Longhorns’ final 12, and grabbing 13 rebounds. Jeans added 22 points on 9-for-12 shooting from the outside. Texas (11-5 overall, 5-! in the SWC) won without leading scorer Joey Wright, who missed the game with a pulled hamstring. Tech, in losing its fifth straight conference game, fell to 5-14 and 2-5. T ech opened the second half with an 11-4 run to tie the score 43-all, and trailed only 63-60 with less than seven minutes to play. But the Red Raiders went cold in the final six minutes and Texas finished the game with a 20-5 run to seal the victory. Steve Miles led Tech with 22 points and Derex Butts added 10 for the Red Raiders. The Raiders were playing their first game without star forward Will Flemons, w'ho reaggravated a stress fracture in his left foot at Houston Saturday and will miss the rest of the season. Texas towered over the Red Raiders, whose tallest player, Miles, is only 6-8. Tech was forced to rely on 3-point bombs to stay close in the first lialf, and the Longhorns led 39-32 at intermission.
