(AP) — Michael Timpson denied any involvement in the sexual harassment of a female reporter in the New England Patriots locker room and an attorney for Zeke Mowatt said Wednesday the con troversy is “far from over.” One day after NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue fined Mowatt $12,500 and Timpson and Robert Perry man $5,000 each in connection with the Sept. 17 inci dent, Robert Fraley, Mowatt’s attorney, told the Boston Globe: “If (Tagliabue) thinks this is over, then he is mis taken. This thing is far from over.” Tagliabue imposed the penalties after receiving a 60- page report of an investigation of the incident involving Lisa Olson of the Boston Herald. “I had nothing to do with the issue. I stick by it,” Timpson said. “All the rest of you have to talk to my le gal representatives.” Mowatt asked a reporter in the locker room Wednes day, “what was in the report?” When questioned by writers, he repeatedly gave out the phone number of Fraley. “I’ll speak within time,” said Mowatt. Fraley said he would meet with Mowatt next week, according to the Boston Globe. “We will go before whatever forum necessary to see that justice is done here. We are going to look at every reasonable basis to proceed legally in this case,” the newspaper quoted Fraley as saying. Perryman, now with the Dallas Cowboys after bei: cut Nov. 5, refused comment. His agent, Robert Faynt said, “We have every intention of vindicating Robeni name. We feel strongly that he was implicated unjust- fiably.” The report, based on an investigation headed It Harvard Law professor Philip Heymann, was criticalol New England general manager Patrick Sullivan. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported Wednesday that former Permian football coach Gary Gaines received at least $15,000 in cash from boosters after both the 1988 and 1989 seasons. A booster who was not identified told the newspa per the payments allegedly occurred for more than a decade. “We are not involved at this time,” Bill Farney, athletic director of the University Interscholastic League, said Wednesday. “The District 4-5A executive committee has heard testi mony about those concerns. “It fell into the executive commit tee’s jurisdiction.
