Dear Fellow Texan:
This year, we have the opportunity to put an outstanding team of
Texas leaders to work for our home State as well as our Nation.
Senator Phil Gramm is Texas' pride in the U.S. Senate. Whether
it's fighting drugs, balancing the budget, or creating jobs, Phil
Gramm has made a difference for the whole country. But here in
Washington, he's best known as the man who's always working,
fighting, and winning for Texas.
It's also very important to me personally that you support
Clayton Williams for Governor of Texas. Claytie's from a town
dear to my heart. Midland, and he's a strong, decisive leader —
a man who's already created thousands of jobs for Texas, has a
specific plan to win the war on drugs in Texas, and has the
courage, skill, and, yes, the compassion and understanding of
people, to be a great Governor.
And look at the entire Republican ticket. Qualified.
Experienced. Conservative leadership. Please join me in voting
for Phil Gramm, Clayton Williams, and the entire Republican team
on November 6.
I'll continue to do my best to represent you well in Washington.
I-hope I can count on you to keep Texas Republicans in charge at
home as well.
Sincerely,
TEAM
TEXAS
