Police believe armed robbery
suspect lives near crime scene
Crime Stoppers is seeking infor
mation about an Aug. 25 robbery at
the Charter Food Store, 1401 N.
Texas Ave. in Bryan.
The suspect threatened the clerk
with a small, chrome semi-automatic
pistol, demanded cash from the reg
ister and left the store.
A hidden camera recorded the
suspect, but his identity still is un
known.
Witnesses describe the suspect as a
20- to 25-year-old African-American

He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs
about 130 Ibs^
Bryan police believe the suspect
lives in the neighborhood near the
store.
