Fo6tball fans crowd the overhead crosswalk above Welborn Road to reach Kyle Field Saturday. Those
caught in game traffic had to settle for parking in the Fish Lot across the busy street.
Before each home game, the parking lot in front of Kyle Field is filled with loyal fans pre- Squires ‘76, the Homeyers ‘76, the Mechlers ‘81, and the Davis’ ‘78, all members of the
paring for a successful Aggie homestand by drinking their favorite libations. The 12th Man Foundation, have been reveling in this spot for five seasons.
Larry Smith ‘69 and his wife Gaylnn videotape their son Robert Smith ‘91 during march-
in from the Quad to Kyle Field. Their son is a sdriidrihember of the band.
Eleven year-old John Ford of Franklin passes time reading
while selling mums for his mom at the intersection of Wel
born and George Bush Drive. Ford received $1 for every
mum he sold and hoped to sell the entire stock of 14 before
the game. Since every game at A&M is homecoming, mums
are a fast-selling item on game day.
