The symposium begins at 9 a.m. with a panel of A&M person nel who will discuss “Multicultu ral: Do I understand what it Means?” and “Successful Pro grams at the Department/College Levels.” Panel members will be Dr. Pat ricia Larke, from the Department of Educational Curriculum and Instruction, Dr. Filomeno Maldo nado, from the College of Medi cine, and Dr. Christine Stanley, an instructor in the Center for Teaching Excellence. Small group discussions on both topics will follow comments by panel members. The featured speaker will be Dr. James Anderson, a professor of psychology at Indiana Univer sity of Pennsylvania and an au thority on multiracial and multi cultural education.
