The Texas A&M Judo Team
participated in their final tourna
ment of the fall season at the Dal
las Championships. Withover 300
participants representing 10
states and 4 countries, the Ag
gies managed to bring home three
medals: David Schmidt, 3rd, 185
lbs. division; Mike Baker, 2nd and
Roger Dubbs, 3rd, 209 and over
division. Other Aggies participat
ing were Bobby Perez, Darryl
Coleman, David Baker, and John
Hughes.
On November 18, the Texas
A&M Volleyball Classic was held
in the Read Building on the A&M
campus. The TAMU Men’s
Maroon Team placed second in
the tournament with Scott Nelson
and M ike McCall garnering places
ontheAII-ToumamentTeam. The
Women’s Division was dominated
by the TAMU Women’s Teams.
The Women’s A Team took the
championship trophy while the
Women’s B Team ended the
tournament second.
