Aggie Players present ‘Dear’Liar’ in Rudder
The Aggie Players will present
“Dear Liar," a 6eorge Bernard
Shaw play, tonight at 8 p.m. in
Rudder Forum.
Performance* will also be given
Friday and Saturdav nights at 8.
The play revolves around love
letters written between Shaw and
Mrs. Patrick Campbell over a 40-
year period.
The two-member cast features
Scott Kellv, assistant general
counsel with the Texas AlcM
University System Office of Gen
eral Counsel, as Shaw. Playing
Campbell will be Emma Reading,
an A AM theater graduate.

ROAD TRIPS
Circus clown and showgirl auditions today
Anyone who has ever dreamed
of running off and joining the
circus may make his or her wish
come true, as the Ringling Bros
and Barnum fc Bailev Circus will
hold showgirl and Clown College
auditions today at 4 p.m. at the
Summit in Houston.
While prior experience in
clowning is not necessary for ad
mission to the school, those hop
ing to attend are evaluated for ev
idence of motivation, desire to be
a clown, quick physical reactions,
timing sense and improvisationai
ability Applicants to the tuition-
free Clown (xillegr must be 17
years or older.
Those accepted will attend the
ten-week course in Venice. Flor
ida. where they will take courses
such as makeup, costume con-
struction and performance arts.
Top Clown College graduates
are awarded contracts to become
clowns in the Ringling Bros and
Barmun & Bailev Circus.
Ladies who would like to audi-
n to be a circus showgirl should
have a strong background in
dance — one which preferably in
cludes jazz. modern and ballet
Showgirl applicants must be 18
years or oklrr. a high school
graduate and be available to
travel. Personality, appearance,
weight and ability to Varn rou
