The 63-year-old founder of Play boy magazine and 1988 Playmate of the Year Kimberley Conrad, 26, will recite wedding vows Saturday af ternoon at the Playboy Mansion in exclusive Holmby Hills. Some 450 guests will then party the night away. The formal ceremony will be elab orate yet traditional, planners say. In keeping with southern California standards, ushers are required to have tans. And Miss Conrad, a former Play boy bunny later picked as last year’s Playmate, already has evicted the bevy of cotton-tailed beauties from the 5.3-acre estate. “It was the kind of thing I felt quite certain would never happen in my life,” Hefner said of the wed ding, adding: “I guess I’ve changed.” Hefner was married once before, for 10 years to Millie Williams, and they had two children — Christie, 36, and David, 34. Christie Hefner is now chairman and chief executive officer of Play boy Enterprises Inc., the empire Hefner started in 1953, about 10 years before his bride was born. Hefner was tamed in part by a mild stroke in 1986. He stopped smoking his pipe and switched to caffeine-free Diet Pepsi, but he still wears his trademark purple silk pa jamas day and night. Actor Bob Saget really a Cunningham at heart LOS ANGELES (AP) — When the cameras are turned off on the set of ABC’s “Full House,” Bob Saget and the other actors sometimes pretend they’re doing other shows. “We kid that I’m Richie Cunning ham and we’re doing ‘Happy Days,”’ says Saget. “David Coulier is Ralph and Potsie and John Stamos is the Fonz. Or we kid that we’re doing ‘Charlie’s Angels.’ John is Jaclyn Smith, David is Farrah Fawcett and I’m Kate Jackson. It’s just a way to have fun.” “‘Full House’ is about six people living in one house and loving each other. The three guys and my three daughters,” Saget says. “We really do care for each other. Usually peo ple in a show love each other because they get paid.” Saget stars as Danny, a San Fran cisco TV talk show host and widower with three daughters who asks his brother-in-law and a friend to move in and help him run the household. Stamos is Uncle Jesse, a former mu sician who now writes advertising jingles. Coulier is Joey, a stand-up comedian. Together, they all fill the house with laughs. The daughters are Candace Cam eron, Jodie Sweetin and twins Mary Kate and Ashley Fuller Olsen (as baby Michelle). “It took about 13 weeks for me and the writers to figure out who Danny is,” Saget says. “I knew I wanted him to be neat and I knew I wanted him to hug a lot. Those were the external things. “The internal thing is that there’s an undercurrent of sadness because his wife died in an automobile acci dent only a year before. He really does need all this love in his life. The thing I like about him is that, like Richie Cunningham, he’s really a nice guy.” ROAD TRIPS First-ever ice cream festival in Brenham The first-ever Brenham Ice Cream Festival will be held in Brenham beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the Washington County Fairgrounds.
