Homicide detective Gary Cutler said authorities believe the suspects headed south toward Mexico and drove by mistake to a truck im poundment area at the border. “There was some luck involved, no doubt,” Cutler said of the arrests. “They drove to the wrong spot. An autopsy indicated Sigler died of seven stab wounds inflicted with a knife at least seven inches long, Dr. Robert Bayardo, Travis County medical examiner, said.
