In addition to washing your
car, there may be
improvements you’ve been
wanting to make on it, if you’re
the mechanical type. You could
replace that muffler you’ve
been meaning to get around to,
or add those speakers you
bought. And if the inside of a
car is a foreign land, make
improvements to your house.

wooden fans and silk flowers.

Aside from having time, you
won’t have any roommates

The results may surprise you.
No matter how many dishes
you cook, drawers you clean or
movies you watch, you won’t
want to spend the whole break
inside. Christmas break is a
great time to get out and do the
things you just couldn’t spare
the time to do during the

With the majority of Texas
A&M students out of town, the
clubs are not likely to be
crowded. Just think, you might
actually get to sit down in your
favorite club. It’s almost too
wonderful to contemplate, isn’t
it? Also, don’t forget to call the
clubs to find out the drink
specials, because clubs will
probably do all they can to
attract the customers still in
town.

Whether they are smut
books, detective novels or
biographies, books have the
ability to take you away from
the real world. Stephen King is
always better in print, and
Danielle Steel is better than any
soap opera.

time or you will rot away.

College students generally
shop the Hamburger Helper

grocery store. A typical pantry
often contains pop tarts,
granola bars and the inevitable
peanut butter. College students
are often too busy to cook
elaborate dinners, and rarely
have the time to leam.

Organizations like the Cheer

Also, your local church may

The ducks at Central Park
hold a fascination for many
students. Jody Bartee, a senior
community health major, said
she is going to feed the ducks.
“I like feeding the ducks, ”
she said. “I think they will need
company as much as I will. ”
Of course, you

gone to a play, been clubbing,

you still have spare time left

One thing still left for you to

shouldn’tbe studying?
Now, let’s see what you’ve
got planned. Meals, a clean
room (scary thought), couch

new friends, increased
