You could replace that muffler you’ve been meaning to get around to, or add those speakers you bought. And if the inside of a car is a foreign land, make improvements to your house. With the majority of Texas A&M students out of town, the clubs are not likely to be crowded. Just think, you might actually get to sit down in your favorite club. It’s almost too wonderful to contemplate, isn’t it? Also, don’t forget to call the clubs to find out the drink specials, because clubs will probably do all they can to attract the customers still in town. And if you think you need to catch up on the culture in your life, check out what is going on around town. A typical pantry often contains pop tarts, granola bars and the inevitable peanut butter. So you’ve cleaned your apartment, waxed your car, gone to a play, been clubbing, worked out for three hours and you still have spare time left over. Congratulations on being so organized. One thing still left for you to do is read. Yes read, that almost forgotten activity. Visit your local library (does this sound like a television commercial?) and find some books you’ve always wanted to read. Of course, they don’t all have to be happens all the time during the semester, so why get out of practice? Watch old Gilligan’s Island or Beverly Hillbillies remns, lay around and catch up on your soap opera or just vegetate to MTV. And won’t it feel good to know you really shouldn’tbe studying? Now, let’s see what you’ve got planned. Meals, a clean room (scary thought), couch potato time, a healthy body, new friends, increased knowledge, a paycheck from work and no more finals. What more could you ask? By the time you finish all these activities, you probably will be out of time, and it will be time to get back into the routine of classes once again.
