Krishnan had seven game points, but Edberg ended up winning the game to take a 3-0 lead. Krishnan, ranked 42nd in the world, said he was pleased with his showing in the tournament. “Even today I felt I was well pre pared,” the 26-year-old Indian said. “I just got outplayed.” Edberg, who lost to Ivan Lendl in last year’s semifinals, will play the winner of Thursday night’s Miloslav Mecir-Mats Wilander match on Sat urday.
