The movement back to religion
Are the college students of today turning to religion for
support and guidance? Is the religious movement
gaining strength? With all the publicity surrounding the
papal visit, we decided this would be a good time to
address these and other questions.
The atheist perspective
Atheists, like most non-conformists, must face much
controversy about their views. We’ve tried to get some
enlightening information about atheism from students
who choose to live without religion.
Picketing the pope
Atheist leader Madalyn O’Hair says that the papal visit
is a good chance for atheists to make their opinions
heard. If you want to read a few of 0’Hair’s more
colorful remarks, turn to page 11.
Aggienizing Answers
This is a new At Ease special feature addressing a
special question dealing with each weekly topic. Read
on to see how students answered the question: “How
do you feel about the papal visit?”
