Is the religious movement gaining strength? With all the publicity surrounding the papal visit, we decided this would be a good time to address these and other questions. The atheist perspective Atheists, like most non-conformists, must face much controversy about their views. We’ve tried to get some enlightening information about atheism from students who choose to live without religion. Picketing the pope Atheist leader Madalyn O’Hair says that the papal visit is a good chance for atheists to make their opinions heard. If you want to read a few of 0’Hair’s more colorful remarks, turn to page 11. Aggienizing Answers This is a new At Ease special feature addressing a special question dealing with each weekly topic. Read on to see how students answered the question: “How do you feel about the papal visit?” Movie review This week Tom tells us why he really likes “Dudes, ” a punk rock movie directed by Penelope Spheeris.
