Texas Air official
denies move
to New York
HOUSTON (AP) — Some of
Texas Air Corporation’s top officials
are planning to move from Houston
to New York, the Houston Post re
ported Sunday.
Texas Air’s top four corporate of
ficers have bought homes in the New
York area, industry sources told the
newspaper.
Rick Scott, spokesman for Texas
Air in Houston, denied that Texas
Air plans to move to New York.
He confirmed that Robert D. Sne-
deker, senior vice president and
treasurer, and some other officials
were moving to New York.
“It makes sense to be there for
what they do,” Scott said, adding
that Snedeker already spends a sig
nificant amount of his time in New
York on company business.
Chairman Frank Lorenzo placed
a bid on a home in the New York
area and has enrolled his children in
Connecticut schools for the upcom
ing year, the newspaper said.
Texas Air currently maintains of
fices in New York and Washington
for use by company officials when
they are in town, company officials
said.

Wells said that after the man fired
two more shots, a constable’s office

who retreated into the office area.
Officers then heard another pair
of shots.
