Fresh man Traci Thomas banged in a 15-footer, and Lisa Herner and Donna Roper both nailed jump ers from just inside the three- point circle as the Lady Aggies cut it to eight at 56-48. Arkansas’ Sheila Burkes cut underneath for a layup to break the run, but Roper scored on a drive and fast-break layup, and suddenly it was a six-point game at 58-52. Herner was able to hit a 3- pointer with 46 seconds left to make it 61-56. But Webb drove the right baseline for a layup, and the Razorbacks had their 15th win of the season. Arkansas also stymied the Lady Aggies’ comeback by hitting four of six free throws in the game’s fi nal minute and a half. The Razorbacks’ Wynn led all scorers with 15 points.
