photo by Marcena Fadal here did the semester go? It seems like only yesterday we were getting geared up for the fall semester, renewing old friendships after summer separations, optimistically hoping for that ever-elusive 4.0, and wondering whether the football team really could pull it off two years in a row. We’ve spent three and a half months partying with our friends, but now we say good-bye to them once again as we pack and head back home for the holiday season. We studied for hours on end — or at least thought about studying for hours on end — in our perpetual pursuit of a decent GPR. Yet already finals are upon us, and we are forced to face up to our failings, or perhaps we are proud that we have passed. We filled the stands at Kyle Field, holding our breath as the football team proved that they could win two consecutive Southwest Conference championships. It seems like only yesterday...where did the semester go? In an effort to recapture the high and low points of the semester, At Ease has compiled a summary of the good, the bad and the ugly. We know this is, by no means, a comprehensive list. We just tried to hit on some of the more major happenings — events and issues that you either participated in, read about, or were in some way involved with.
