Dear Readers: We are the new At Ease editors, and we just wanted to take a second to intoduce ourselves and ease you into our first issue. Inside you will find a sizzlin ’ synopsis of this past semester— the good, the bad, and the ugly. We have also included a collector's edition At Ease centerfold that can easily be pulled out and pinned up for your viewing pleasure. As you may or may not have noticed, we are initiating a new At Ease regular feature — the Attention! page. Every week we will run a picture and/or column of the week on this page, and we invite your contributions for either of these categories. Please do not hesitate to send us your contributions; we always enjoy hearing from our readers. In fact, even if you don’t have a column or photo to send us, drop us a line anyway and let us know how we’re doing. We have some really wild ideas for At Ease issues next semester. Look for off-the-wall photos, revealing interviews, zany stories and much more. And the best news is that we’ll be coming out on Thursdays. You guys have been telling us that you never get the Friday paper, that you wish we came out earlier in the week so you can make your weekend plans ahead of time, etc... So, we are happy to announce that starting January 30 you can find At Ease tucked into Thursday’s Battalion. We hope you like our new look. We would like to thank Tony Cornett for designing the new At Ease, Attention! and Inside logos and for all his assistance on this issue. Thanks also to Phyllis Miller for her tireless efforts on the center spread. Finally, we are indebted to Bill Hughes and Marybeth Rohsner for helping us make this issue happen. Good luck on finals!
